A powder-filled ski tour in the heart of Yamagata, home to Japan’s legendary “Snow Monsters” (Juhyo) of Zao. Spend 3 full days skiing deep snow at off-the-radar local resorts, guided by local experts. Stay in nature at Gassan, soak in the hot springs of Zao, or enjoy the city life of Yamagata—your base is up to you.
Itinerary
Arrive at Yamagata Station or Yamagata Airport.
Transfer to your preferred accommodation (Gassan, Zao, or Yamagata City).
Relax, explore, and prepare for 3 days of powder skiing.
